I know. I wasn't going to over think this but old habits die hard. Those flowers in her hair on the right just kept glaring at me, taunting me to remove them. So I had to show them who's boss. While I was at it, I changed the other things that were bothering me. I also received a beautiful William Morris calendar from my daughter and these colors (see above) were so lovely I rethought my palette because that's what OVER thinking leads to. So, here it is.
I'm DONE. Must move on...I think.

Looks great! And your work-in-progress corrections turned out very well. Job well done!
It's very beautiful, I love the colours.
Good call on changing the flowers in her hair and adding the hand back in. You were right! Looks nice.
MUCH better. I didn't want to say before--too many opinions are not necessarily helpful--but the thing that bothered me about it was the yellowness of her hair. This grey-green filter has fixed that beautifully.
beautiful and powerful
so fun for me to see a bit of your process, thanks for sharing. lovely palette indeed.
My thanks to all of you. And Vicki, you remember the critiques we suffered through at IMC? I've lived through 4 of them and survived. Next time, please say something. I do value your opinions. It's how I learn. Thanks again!
