For me, the Uncle Tom's Cabin dance sequence was the highlight of the show.
Here is the makeup for the "bloodhounds".
This is the part when the angel is sent from Buddha and is blowing on the river to make it freeze. You can see the backdrop alittle bit in this one.

Now I look forward to two new granddaughters who are due to be born in the next two weeks and preparing for IMC. This year, I've chosen to do the children's book assignment. I'll have more on that in a later post.

44x16,that is a huge painting! Just from the photos I can tell that the play was well done. Do you have clearer shots of your backdrops? And did you do the makeup? The bloodhound makeup is very striking.
The makeup was done by a volunteer...well, we were all volunteers....but she sure knew her stuff. The backdrop was not the focus of the play but I think it succeeded in completing the overall look of the play. Frankly, I didn't know what I was doing. I've never even painted a landscape before.
Thanks for stopping by, Dixon. I thought for sure you would do Art Order's Eowyn vs. Nazgul challenge. How's your project coming?
