Here's the progress I've made on the Tiger Beast. I want him threatening to the viewer and protective of Beauty. I'm trying to include something to suggest he was once a prince. Not sure if I'll go with the sash. I will have to see the reaction to the hair on his head. I think I'm going to extend his paw forward and exaggerate the perspective. Suggestions?

Tiger Beast
Here's the progress I've made on the Tiger Beast. I want him threatening to the viewer and protective of Beauty. I'm trying to include something to suggest he was once a prince. Looks great already! If you go with the sash, you could change the star symbol to a fleur-de-lis, which can be suggestive of royalty.
Also, the way you've drawn the crown of the head, it almost looks like he is wearing an actual crown. Subtle!
Foreshortening the paw, with claws extended, would certainly suggest he is protecting the person.
Love your work and am certainly impressed with your win in "Ann Kullbergs" Show.
