I've been listening to a wonderful book by David McCullough, entitled,
The Greater Journey, Americans in Paris.
(Yes, I do read non-fiction occasionally)
Seriously, it is one of the best books on art history I've read in a long time. Give is a try and see what you think.

Thanks for the tip- I've got it on hold at the library now.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have, Rebecca. More than anything, it has been motivational.
Looks like a great birthday gift for Dave (He loves art history and France.)! Did you enjoy the audio? Or would you recommend the book (print)? Are there any photos/illustrations he'd miss out on with the audio?
Wendy has the book. I imagine there are some additional references there. I'm going to ask for it for Christmas because there are quotes I want to underline and sections I want to read over. Dave will love it.
Thanks, Kim! I'll get him the book.
