Merry Christmas to All

So this concludes all 12 days of grandchildren. I am truly blessed to have most of them close by. They make my life worth living. Of course, I'm not alone. At my side, I have a most wonderful, selfless man, my husband of almost 37 years. He continues to support me in all my endeavors, both artistic and personal. For all these people who grace my life, including my dear friends, I wish you a very, merry Christmas and a wondrous new year.

Favorite Ornaments

This is a photo of my all-time favorite ornament. Last year, we were presented these wonderful wooden plaques with all the names of our family members, making our Christmas tree a family tree as well. My husband's sister was the generous giver and her daughters are the makers. They are the creative duo behind Saying it Simply.

Angel Final

Here's the final on the angel Christmas card done in acryla gouache. Or better known around my grandchildren, as acryla go-wash-your hands. I sealed it with an acrylic glaze.

Holiday Greetings and a Death

I regret to announce the death of my computer. Yes, the ol'gal (not to be confused with the ol'gal that is usually on it) finally kicked the bucket. It happened at a terrible time and though I was pretty good at backing up my files, I lost some data that will be impossible to retrieve. So Sad!! BUT, I am now the proud owner of a fancy new one with Vista. I also discovered that my ol'scanner was not compatible with that new Vista which required buying a new scanner. So, I'm back online and back blogging. FINALLY! Just in time to wish all five people who actually visit this obscure blog, a very Merry Christmas. I will post and update projects after the 25th.
