This type of illustration tends to work terrifically with washes. But might be fun to practice Rebecca's oil technique? :-) (especially that fun, abstracted background).
Oh mom I love it! I can't really advise on mediums to use but I think it's very creative as is! :)
Got rid of the feathers and changed background a little. Did more refining on the sketch as well. Wonder which type of medium to use??
